Muscle Activation Techniques®, or MAT®, is a system used by trained professionals in the physical health, fitness and wellness industries to help assess the muscle strength, stability and mobility.  MAT® is a specific and unique process for evaluating an individual’s ability to develop efficient muscle contraction(s)

What Makes

MAT® Unique

MAT® differentiates itself from other techniques because it never attempts to directly lengthen or change the muscle by stretching, heating or kneading. MAT® is not trying to “relax” muscle, but instead tries to “activate” the muscle, so that your body is better prepared to handle the forces that come from exercise and everyday movements.

Who Can Benefit From MAT®

MAT® is for anyone from professional to high school athletes and to everyone experiencing limited movement, compensation, or discomfort. Muscle Activation Techniques® will deliver relief and enhance performance by reducing muscular imbalances.
